Corrupt Sanity
Faceless.. melting into feathers, black as night
Soaring above her confused innocence
They gather; as an unkindness;
Flocking together in dismal conspiracy
Blocking out her sunlight,
Forming shadows of madness on the woman below
Like a stalker, they have picked their prey and hunt her
Following her into her dreams;
Tearing at her hair and face with peckish beaks;
The ravens cry in outrage
Within their reality, they mock her
Stroking her softness with a lovers intent
Black eyes, black hearts waiting for the moment she lays in rest
No peace for her innocence
They beg to teach her fear and treachery
Raping between milky thighs
and slicing her breasts with razor beaks
Destroying her precious gifts of love
Live within the deepest shadow of the raven
Their intelligence mangled in corrupt sanity
But no more will they haunt her; for life within the darkness,
Sheathed amongst soft and feathered wings
Will bleed her breathless and set her free.

To burn a bridge.
A single bridge stretches over a brook,

where life as fragile
I know the time is coming
but, not while I am here
when peace on earth prevails
with promises, good cheer
It's been
