Master of Economics: Is it right for me?

Alfred Marshall defined economics as "a study of mankind in the ordinary business of life."

John Maynard Keynes said that "the theory of economics does not furnish a body of settled conclusions immediately applicable to policy. It is a method rather than a doctrine, an apparatus of the mind, a technique which helps its possessor to draw correct conclusions."

Getting a Master's degree in Economics is not an easy task to achieve by any means. A Master's degree in Economics is based around students who are seeking careers in technical financial analysis, lawyers who are looking to gain an advantage in microeconomics, theory, and cost benefit analysis. As well as individuals who are aspiring to achieve balance for positions in the workforce for the government such as consulting or theory based jobs. Though many colleges offer these programs either on-line or in a classroom environment the journey to being awarded the Master's of Economics degree will be time consuming and difficult.
