Building your own PC is not only a fun and very rewarding experience, but it gives you the opportunity to choose what you want in terms of hardware and software. Large corporate computer companies will build and ship a PC right to your doorstep within as little as a week and for some that is great, but building your own PC gives you the chance to not just build your own system, but research the parts, learn about the advantages and disadvantages of each component and in doing so it will give you a broader outlook on the PC world and community.
When you make the decision to acquire a PC wether it be for buisness, pleasure or maybe a bit of both, it becomes an investment. Something that will aid you, help you to learn about many different things, simplify certain tasks and errands, open up a whole new world to you VIA the internet and help you to connect and keep in touch with people all over the globe. You have to take into consideration all of this when your making that decision to build your own PC or buy one and the reason that building one takes the cake is that for one, you need to be able to have flexibility. The market is always expanding and technology is growing in leaps and bounds, and as the technology grows, you must as well in order to keep up with the requirements of different applications and software.
Building your own PC makes this task easy. When you build your own PC, you get to choose the size and make of the tower housing your PC, you get to choose what type of motherboard and processor you want, how large of a hard drive you are going to need, what kind of a power supply is going to be adequate to power your system efficiently and of course the different array of accessories that you can choose from such as case fans, case lighting, dvd-rw and cd-rw drives, video cards, sound cards etc. You hold all the cards when building your PC and you will have a sense of accomplishment and pride every time you sit down and use your pc for the simple fact that you built it, you own it and you made a choice. A good choice as well as a good investment.
Building your own PC is cheaper too. When you buy a store bought PC or order one through any one of the companies in buisness selling PCs you have to remember that your paying not only the shipping fees, taxes and whatnot, but the labor fees incurred building the system for you. When added up, you potentially pay more than if you go out and buy the parts yourself, or order them online and have them shipped
