That Snidey Ol' Buffalo
You can swear about those in control
You can scowl at everything you're told
You have no friends because you've fallen out
But you've forgot what that was all about
Now that you've got no-place left to go
Don't try to tell me you don't know
You can't hide from that snidey ol' buffalo
Now your audience has turned it's back
There's no-one to see your disappearing act
The ticket sellers have returned your receipts
Your props have all been thrown out on the street
The run has ended on your one-man show
The limelight fades and now it's time to go
You can't hide from that snidey ol' buffalo
The doors in front of you will start to close
If you're standing there they'll break your nose
The path you're on will start to disappear
You'll soon find out that no-one wants you here
Now that you have been left all alone
With no-one but yourself to walk you home
You can't hide from that snidey ol' buffalo
He's got your scent, he's coming after you
There's no doors been made he can't pass through
He follows the footprints you left on the beach
He knows that now you're nearly in his reach
You'd better try and keep your head down low
I can see him coming down the road
You can't hide from that snidey ol' buffalo
