Hate is my life
Darkness is my future
I live eternity in the shadows
I'm afraid to speak my mind
I'm afraid someone will hear
My last bit of hope falls
It falls with my final tear
I thought you would be near and dear
but like my life, this is a lie
Thoughts of suicide replace my common sense
I know what I am about to do isn't smart
But who cares? Why not?
I hold the cold, hard, steel blade in my hand
Flip my wrist face up
Strike one! The blood starts to ooze
Strike two! I'm losing consciousness
Strike three! I'm out
No more pain
No more hate
No more fear

I feel as though I'm drifting but not swimming
Sinking not staying afloat
Being pushed rather than voluntarily remaining still
Bullied
by Colin Ward
A dinner waits in the oven, dry as tinder sticks.
You hadn't come home for tea, at the normal time of six.
I gave you a few
by Daisy Breeze
Survival
The world span away
When the phone rang that day
Ears buzzed as he said
It's your turn.
So I rang for assistance,
And
Another Chance
I sat alone in my room,
holding the ultimate tool of my fate.
I'd been keeping it all inside,
forgetting to forgive
by Paul Curtis
WHAT?
What darkness
Leads a tortured soul
To break the bonds
Which hold us
Voluntarily
What illusion
So influences
A mind once so
