Fast track to weight loss: Finding the fastest way to shed pounds

Looking for the quickest way to shed some weight? Be quicker! Not in your car silly, but on your feet. Want that greasy fast food for lunch? Walk to get it, or at least walk in to the restaurant on your own two feet.

Dieting books make up the market in self help. Fads and plans requiring the ability and time to monitor everything you eat, or maybe to show off to the dinning room at the local gathering place, your skills in converting carbohydrates to calories. Most everyone has heard of them and most everyone has tried them. Most likely with little success.

Weight loss does not happen quickly, and if it does you can almost guarantee the weight will be put back on with a little extra for insurance purposes.

So you want to lose weight quickly, but you do not want to starve yourself or try a fad diet plan, but most of all you want to keep the weight off after you have achieved the new slender you. I will tell you a secret...step closer you must listen careful...

"SET YOUR ALARM!"

Yep it is that simple. Start your day off just fifteen minutes earlier the first week. Take a few minutes in the morning to just walk around the house sipping that cup of coffee or tea. This fifteen minutes will allow your body to wake up as well as put you a few minutes ahead of schedule. Secret number two...

"PARK LIKE YOU HAVE SOME PRIDE"

If you can not walk to work a couple days a week, at least make it a point to forget there are front row parking spots. Everyone jockeys for those spots that allow them minimal time in the out doors. Often scurrying through the parking lot for fifteen minutes waiting for that front spot to become available. Parking toward the back of the lot not only will increase your exercise, but it will protect your vehicle from others hurrying for those front row spots too. Just the short walk from the back of the lot to the front will increase your metabolism and assist in the "diet plan" of your choice. Holding your head up high and walking with good proud posture will encourage your body to support itself, using those muscles that are often neglected while sitting will increase your metabolism also.

For many just an increase in exercise will boost their metabolism enough to shed the extra pound. Unfortunately some have a few more than a few to shed. Accepting this fact is step number one. Denial will get you no where. Blaming parental eating habits and upbringing, medical conditions or someone else's influence will also get you no where.
