Poetry: Coffee

by Volecia Plafcan

Created on: October 15, 2008

I'm grinding you up

to fit in my cup

don't look at me that way

You knew it was your time

to brew and shine

you are no good the way you are

except coated with chocolate

and I am a chocoholic

I'll get you one way or another

so quit all that screaming

turn into a ground

'cause I think I hear my mother

calling for her cup

to help her get up

little bean, I'm glad you were found
