You don't have to be a singer
To sing a song,
You don't have to be a song
To be sung
You don't have to have wings
In order to fly,
You don't have to fly
To reach the sky
You don't have to have a road
To take a trip,
You don't have to have an ocean
To steer your own ship
You don't have to hear
To feel the sound,
You don't have to be lost
In order to be found
You don't have to run
To win the race,
You don't have to race
To save your face
You don't have to touch love
To know that it's there
You don't have to get love
To send yours everywhere
Some things in life don't seem
what they are,
So you must trust the walk until
you return to the stars.
