Poetry: Broken heart

by Jane Eliza

Created on: October 14, 2008

BrokenHearted.

It broke.
Did you drop it?
All these little pieces everywhere.
There's one over there:
jagged edge sticking into my self esteem:
better be careful when I pull that one out.
There's another: looks like it cut my trust right in half:
dunno that I can fix that one on my own.
Happiness! My happiness fell out: gone: just gone.
Didn't realise how much stuff was in my heart:
now it's scattered
on the floor of my life.
