If the first time that you go to a gym, you do not know what are the rules that govern the behavior of this place. What is wrong? What is correct? Here, I will share with you what are the most common etiquette rules in gyms:
Dos
1. Read the rules of the gym. In most gyms have their own rules in several walls.
2. Handle with care equipment and machines. If you have any questions about using equipment, ask to the trainer.
3. Every time that you finish using dumbbells, plates other equipment put them back into the correct racks or correct places.
4. Share the equipment. When rest between sets allowing others to use the equipment. There are machines in which is easy to change weights, up to four people can use them.

5. Use a towel or a t-shirt to put on the weight bench to avoid that the equipment get wet with sweat. After use the equipment, be sure to wipe it off.
6. Be yourself measured about the time that you stay using machines and other equipment.
7. Make sets that are scheduled in your routine and leave the equipment free.
8. Make your exercises paying attention to what you doing.
9. Follow the advices of the trainer.
10. Keep your cellphone off. Your new ringtones can distract to other people and of course, distract you. Can be dangerous distracting when you are working up.
11. When you finish using a machine or equipment be sure that you do not forget your things in the machine or equipment. Leave the place clean.
12. Use a good deodorant. If you use perfume or cologne, use very little or not use it.
13. Use appropriate and comfortable clothes.
14. Gyms are not libraries, but speak in a low voice is a good habit.
15. Keep your locker clean and in order.
16. If you are sick do not attend to the gym.
17. Respect the trainer and others.
Don'ts
1. Violating rules of the gym.
2. Drop or throw dumbbells, plates and other equipment with no reason, put them up in incorrectly their racks, use them to perform different exercises for which they were designed.
3. When you finish using an equipment, leave it on the floor thinking that anyone pick them up and put into their correct place.
4. Using equipment or machines in excess or stay doing more than four sets when there are many people waiting at this equipment or machine.
5. Using equipment to sit and talk.
6. Leave the machine sticky and wet with sweat when you end to use.
7. Distract people with your talking when they are doing their exercises and talking loudly and shouting.
8. Leave cellphones turned on inside the lockers.
9. Go to gym sick, especially with a contagious disease such as colds.
10. Stare people that attend to gym.
11. Carry big bags into the training area.
12. Put dumbbells, plates and other equipment in the walkway area.
13. Treat the trainer and others with bad manners with no courtesy.
14. Share your bad odors with others.
15. Say others to do exercises fast every five minutes because you are waiting this machine or equipment.
16. Walk in front mirrors.
17. Use torn or dirty clothes.
If you want your rights are respected, respect of others.
