With my closed eyes reaching rapid
eye movements I am dreaming.
I am seeing my life better than it is.
I am dreaming that my Mother is still
alive, she lives behind the shadows
of my closed eyes.
I had to wake myself up because
the dream was so real, I moaned
he touched and I was about to
surrender and give of myself
to his dream.
Taking a deep breath I lay
myself down to slumber and began
to wonder, what behind my eyes I
seek, dreaming in color and
conversations so deep.
Wake up and realize that
you are not awake, open your
eyes to what is real and
recognize the you were in dreams.

Consumed by thoughts of the worlds beyond;
Soothing colors and dancing creatures
