When you just start your workout you need a personal trainer. At the beginning, your personal trainer will give you some measurements, tests to find out your body mass index, your maximum heart rate, your overall fitness level. He or she will initiate a workout plan base on your fitness level and your personal goal. This plan includes cardio workout, strength training and flexibility training. During the training your PT will decrepit and show you all the right ways to do any kind of movement. He or she will correct you any kind of wrong doing and give you hint to make your workout more proficiency. At the beginning your PT may frequently modify your workout plan until he or she knows your strength, weakness and the fitness level. Than your work out plan will become more reality for you. When you reached your goal, he or she will work with you together to set up new one. Your PT will keep your motivated during the training and always encourage you to keep on focus and work hard.
When you are planning to participant any kind of sports events for the first time, like marathon or triathlon you definitely need a PT. Your PT will give you a very detailed plan from week to week, even day to day to guide you reach the peak of your performance. For example if you train for running marathon, your PT will plan what kind of strength training can stronger the muscles which make you run faster, which day you need to do long distance endurance run or short distance fast run, when you should take rest. His or her plan will help you avoid all the possible injuries during serious training and tell you what to do when injury happens. He or she can give you advice on your nutrition. Again, he or she will keep you motivated.
When your fitness level hit to a certain level, sometimes you need PT to help you bust the plateau. Your PT will point out the weakness you have and develop more balanced workout plan. PT can help you discover the new workout training method and routine to reach a new level.
The most important thing is that once you hire a PT, it does not mean that your goal can be guaranteed to reach. You are the person to follow the routine and do the job to reach your goal.
