Dear Love,
I think it's not too nice
that I must sneak up in the night
and when I do you like to run
to keep me from having too much fun.
Dear Love,
You can, oft times, be
something very hard to see
and me dressed in nature's decor
You run from me 'cross leafy floor.
Dear Love,
I muse and then I ponder
back and forth as I begin to wonder
where my Dear Love starts to end
and where real love for my wife begins.

Dear love
I am dropping
This envelope
Into my heart
I guess that is
Where you are
Like a candle
Of life
Through my eyes
You illuminate

Dear Love
Establish your throne
In my stony heart
Only your Spirit can
Transform
The cold matter into
Flesh and blood
Dear Love
Dear Love,
I want to be the one
to take care of you,
to have your head
resting in my lap.
I want to run my fingers
over your face
