TAKEN INNOCENSE
He took her innocense at a very young age
and the smiles that she smiled disappeared that day
Her small fragile body took the brutal attack
while she laid there helpless, hands behind her back
His desire to fondle her small delicate frame
was an irrespressible urge that he couldn't contain
He whispered, "Everything is going to be fine"
that she would feel better over a period of time
But when he was done, there was nothing left
no kind of explanation that she could accept
She laid there alone, unable to see
the tears flowing down as he began to flee
He crept out the window and disappeared
she screamed so loud for the whole world to hear
Her cries of pain and undeniable grief
let out in the end with a sigh of relief
Her life would never be normal again
she would have to depend on her family and friends
To encourage her to be whom she once was
and to recover from the discernible unjust
The day soon came to repair the damage done
and her heart beat fiercely as the proceedings begun
He sat there glaring, reluctant to admit
that he was nothing more than a ruthless convict
but justice prevailed and he was confined
no more would he abuse another child
She was safe once more to run and play
and that smile that she smiled...
came back again

I turn my back and walk away
from what you've made of me.
It's not because I've hated you
but because I'm hating me.
I tremble
THREADBARE
Little girl whimsies ripped away
By stark man child rages,
Directed at me, "sweet glee"...again,
chann eled in dark
by Kris Vaassen
I now have freedom from
your abuse and control
I am finding me again
before you tried to ruin me
I feel victory over the abuse
by Ed Ostrom
On this wondrous Christmas day,
My friend for you I sincerely pray,
My gift to you is the hope you'll find,
Freedom from addictive
FINALLY
I quietly close the door
Quickly securing the lock
Leaning against the door
I close my eyes
Finally I sigh heavily
Realizing
