Video game reviews: Cake Mania 2

A review worth reading is my intention for this article.

I have been playing games like Cake Mania for some time, i have Cake Mania and Cake Mania 2 I recently downloaded the demo for Cake Mania 3. I have been enjoying the Cake Mania series and played it over the course of a month. I remember my first download which was a demo for Cake Mania and I was hooked since.

The idea behind the game is brilliant, a girl helping her grandparents run a bakery shop because of financial situations. On the course of completing levels she achieves different things in her life, like trophies and awards, my favorite is the proposal. She upgrades her Kitchen with the money she collects and becomes famous on Earth and in space, a little stretched but fun all the same. Helping Customers by increasing there patience by purchasing a television and a microwave thats makes cupcakes, so she can give them a cup cake when there frustrated, helps buy some time when she cooking the cakes.

These types of games require patience, and the ability to see the next project while you are making cakes, I enjoyed it and I have completed both Cake Mania and Cake Mania 2 within days of purchasing them. While i was starting a new series of different games, I was sent an e-mail telling me about Cake Mania 3.

Cake Mania 2 is a great game for the household, helps with strategic thinking, and gives the kids alot of hand eye coordination since you have to be great with the computer mouse, it helped that i already was use to playing the same type of game.

I would recommend this game to anyone who wanted to buy it for there children and also a challenge for adults, I have always enjoyed Sandlot games and this one was the best one I have seen yet. Again thats my preference, it may not be everyones but gauranteed you will enjoy the story and the graphics. The graphics are cartoonish, and the story is comic book style, which keeps the kids interested and they enjoy it more. The Challenge is what kept me interested and once I had completed it, my husband gave it a shot, to my surprise he came close to completing it but he is more a one person shooter or racing game player, and yet he still enjoyed this series of games.

Since my children have played it they have been more interested in the type of strategic game that involves planning ahead, and upgrading, similar to tycoon series, or simulated games, makes it hard to decide the type of game it is, Simulation or Strategic.

Again i would give this game 5 out of 5 for its story line, 5 out of 5 for its graphics, the rest is based on the person who plays the game.

I hope this has helped anyone who is interested in the game, or has heard of it and wants to know whether or not to purchase it.
