AUTUMN'S PROMISE
Leaves of green, browns, yellows and reds
Through tunnels of love my footstep treads
Sun shines its eerie light on an autumnal day
And clouds gather their forces over a distant bay
It is all but a quiet and seasoned breeze
Which drives its scented petals through the trees
The fields of different hues have all been ploughed
And memories of Summer gone, endowed
The blossoming wealth of countryside cheers
As each bloom flowers its creative fears
A Spring-like step befalls the sprinkling rain
When earth and sky meet and promises to remain
Hence, the glory of harvest, a golden promised prayer
To fill one's mind with beauty and enchanting air
A mindful glance at winter's coming snow
Will fill our hearts and souls with a magic glow
