It might seem hard to get the right gift for the beader in your life, but it really doesn't have to be. You just have to look for the right things and in the right places. You might not even realize that that place is right in your own town or at the local mall just waiting for you to go to and get that perfect gift.
Some of the best things to put in your local jewelry designers stocking are things that they might use for their projects. These might be something that you have seen on their workbench many times and know that they use in most of their projects. You probably already thought of this idea, but maybe you aren't sure what they might use. Some ideas are:
Wire- for projects that your lucky beader has not gotten to yet! Maybe they will make you something with it for being so sweet and getting them what they need for that certain project
String- This is also something that thy might use for that next great project. Just make sure that it's beading thread so that it can stand up to the abuse that beaders put them though.
Clasps- Try and take a look at what they already have for clasps because they might have something in particular that they like in the way of clasps. They also might have a certain kind or style.
Needles- Make sure they are beading needles. Some needles are to big for certain beads that they might work with. Big needles are not a good fit for beaders that work with seed beads or small bugle beads.
Beads of course! - We always want beads and you might have some great ideas for the beads that they might really like.
Gift Cards- These are great for people that you are not sure of what to get for them. Bead stores have this options that you can get. Just ask what amounts you can put to a card and if there is a date that they need to be used by.
You will probably want to stay away from the beads and gem stones unless you really know that person that you are buying the stocking stuffer for. Otherwise you might end up with something that they just can't stand to see or to have in their collection. There is also a great set of bags on the market that is a perfect fit for that beader in your life. You just need to look at your local bead shop for what works best for them, and what they might really like.
Take some time and think about what you are getting for the jewelry designer in your life. That way you will be sure to get something that will make them smile on Christmas morning and maybe even get their juices flowing.
