PSSSSTTT! Your kitchen cupboards are hiding some valuable secrets in them. Regular, ordinary household items that are hiding in our cupboards, and our refrigerators are holding vast secrets of knowledge. They are hiding the fact that they can clean the house, deodorize it and sanitize it to create a beautiful abode. We don't even have to spend a vast amount of money in attempting to clean our homes and create a wonderful environment of relaxation and warmth.
Here are many natural items found in your home that will save you time, money, and you'll be saving the environment:
GREEN TEA MAKES YOUR HOUSE SPARKLE
This sweet elixir of life saving properties, green tea works great around the home as a deodorizer. Green tea leaves when sun-dried act like a natural deodorizer in many useful, money saving, environment-friendly ways. Green tea leaves can keep that horrid kitty litter scent down to a minimum, by just sprinkling the leaves into the litter. Place several tea leaves into those smelly shoes and they will neutralize the smell created. Utilize the tea leaves in a potpourri and the sweet smell will create a pleasant home.
Brewed green tea after being cooled down when poured into household and outdoor plants will act as a natural fertilizer, thus creating healthy, beautiful plants. The liquid from brewed green tea leaves will clean the house from top to bottom. Apply a small amount to a dry clean cloth and create a sweet smelling, very clean kitchen.
PEPPERMINT OIL
Besides reviving the home in a clean, fresh stimulating scent, peppermint oil has many medicinal purposes as well. Peppermint oil can get rid of heartburn, indigestion, and flatulence. Peppermint oil smells fantastic and also helps to rid the home and outside areas of almost every insect, such as troublesome ants, moths, and mosquitoes. Place several drops in the inset-ridden areas, small cracks of windows, doors and place cloths with a few drops of peppermint oil around the home to keep those nasty insects at bay. Utilize peppermint oil in cooking to create a fresh ocean breeze scent in the home.
WHITE VINEGAR
Every home should have a container of this multi-purpose, saving the environment product; white vinegar. White vinegar can be utilized to kill outdoor weeds just by pouring it in the cracks of cement and bricks. Earth- friendly white vinegar when combined with water will clean the entire household for mere pennies. Clean floors, appliances, windows, mirrors, and get the sludge and lime deposits off coffeemakers. It will clean the rust from tools, spigots, and remove the grime from pots and pans. When left overnight in the garbage disposal, vinegar will clean and freshen it. By boiling one tablespoon of vinegar and a pot of water, the kitchen will become a pleasant smelling success story once again.

Other natural products found around the home to utilize are: baking soda can be used as toothpaste, a drain de-clogger, a stomach acid reducer, and a refrigerator deodorizer. Basil leaves when hung in a sachet by the window will help rid the home of insects. Eggs will create thick, healthy, strong hair when utilized as a shampoo. Natural aloe plants act as astringent and ease sunburns, and other household burns.
