Poetry: Conflict

by Mary Costigan

Created on: October 13, 2008

Tear drops gently falling from my eyes

Releasing all the feelings locked inside

Coolness on my cheek; come comfort me

Instead they blur my vision; I can't see

Should I wander left or right unfed?

Which path to choose? What turmoil waits ahead?

All my doubts and questions bursting free

Help me find the answers; clearly see

Maybe it's time to let God take control

Trusting in his perfect love for me

Helps me become the person I should be
