Close your eyes now sleepy one
Today's battles have been won
Slumber calls, the angels croon
A soft and soothing restful tune
Relax your mind, unwind your day
File all your cares away
Tomorrow will dawn clear and bright
But you must get your rest tonight
Don't pace the floor and worry
There is no need to hurry
The day is done its time for sleep
Do not lie in bed and weep
You did your best, you made the grade
And now regrets begin to fade
You'll wake refreshed, alert, aglow
And once again your heart will show
Kind sleep refreshed your mind and soul
Dreams of glory were its goal
So close your eyes and say a prayer
And soon your dreams will take you there
