The easiest way to enjoy the most attractions at Walt Disney World is to go during the off season. During the off season most attractions have waits of 20 minutes or less. Unfortunately the off season is when children are out of school which makes going during these times impossible for most families. It is for this reason that I am writing an article for beating the crowds at Walt Disney World.
In order to enjoy the most attractions in one day you need to read up on what attractions are popular, and what type of ride an attraction is. Popular attractions that have low hourly capacities are the rides that you need to use some type of strategy to get on with a minimal wait. The popular attractions with low capacities include all of the roller coasters, and any other ride that does not have a continuous loading capability. Attractions that are in theaters, or have some method of continuous loading (meaning the ride is still being enjoyed by some guest while others are getting on or off), will normally have reasonable waits even during the peak seasons. You will also need to take advantage of some of Disney's popular programs that allow you to enjoy more rides. The first of these programs is called Fastpass. Fastpass is free to all Walt Disney World guest. It allows you to pull a pass with a return time when you will be able to come back and use the Fastpass entrance that brings you to the front of the line. The other program that Disney offers is only for Disney Resort guest. This program is called Extra Magic Hours. There are evening and Morning Extra Magic Hours. These are times when only Disney resort guest are allowed in the parks. The Morning Extra Magic hours are the most useful, usually the park is pretty empty during these times. The evening Extra Magic hours tend to be very crowded, as many Walt Disney World resort guest will end up going to the one park that has the evening Extra Magic Hours as the other parks close.
Now the first strategy for enjoying the most attractions will not be popular with most people on vacation (which is part of the reason that it works so well). Get to the park as soon as it opens. If you are staying on property take advantage of morning Extra Magic Hours. In the first few hours that the parks are open most rides will have very short waits. It is also important that you get your first Fastpass of the day when you first get there. I recommend pulling a Fastpass for one of the popular attractions, and then getting on one of
