Scrap booking is one of my favorite hobbies still. Although, for those who are new to scrap booking just getting started can seem very overwhelming. There are so many products and embellishments out there that you can purchase and use in order to make your scrap book fit uniquely for you. Some people may be concerned about ideas for their scrap book because there are so many. Scrap booking maybe taboo for some but, for others like my self scrap booking has become a part of their lives.

So, you have purchased a scrap book and have decided to start one of your own but, you do not know exactly where to begin. To get started, the first thing that you should do is decided on a specific project. This specific project can either be a single page or even an album with one theme dedicated to one subject such as family. Photos are a great accent to a scrap book because they are captured memories and a scrap book is meant to hold them. Once you are focused on a single project you should look around and see if you can find a single photo or even better, many photos that will go along great with your idea. Photos can also help give you even better ideas about what it is you want to create.

I think that the best part of scrap booking is being able to go to different stores and pick out different things that will go great and make your page look even more creative. When you are scrap booking, you should always try to have an area that is completely dedicated to it. An organized work space makes it easier to create. You should also make sure that you have a special place to keep all of your materials for your scrap book and various projects.

Scrapbook embellishments are the cute little details that you place to surround your photos. By using these embellishments you are creating even more ways to really make your scrapbook pages stand out. The great thing about embellishments is that you can either choose to purchase them at various stores or you can take the time to create them on your own. There is no shortage to your supplies as long as your imagination is at work.

Stamps are fun to use in your scrap books. There are so many stamps to choose from. Alphabet stamps are great for creating words. They even have some stamps that have cute little sayings. There are stamps of many different things. You can purchase stamps of animals and many other objects as well. Ribbon is great for making page borders for photos or even for the whole page. You can find ribbon almost anywhere. Craft
