In This Life
From your silent misery, you will find
Your faith and hope from times that have grown
In this life you carried dreams far away from my own
And I put my arms around you and I see you can't stop shaking
You have pride and fear for unwanted struggle
In this life, you took your love away, in the making
Like a sun that strives to shine and brighten
Nothing else compares to you and those people you enlighten
Their days enrich you and the life you cherish
We may not see angels, Gods, or heavenly skies
But from the magic of our surrounding blessings
Hear this kindness of spirit and wipe away those silent cries
You're still in the arms of an angel in this life

when sadness comes our way
