Poetry: Prisoner of the world

by Larry Terry

Created on: October 11, 2008   Last Updated: February 27, 2010

END OF DAYS

Locked inside,the boundaries of my room;

Outside of it's confinements, I fear doom.

The end of the world, I fear soon;

Anger & devastation, in no time it will swoon.

A prisoner of the world, entrapment looms;

My mind overcome, with the sounds of boom.

Preparing for the end, my plans I groom;

If I had a shuttle, I'd launch to the moon.
