I just bought my boat
she is a pretty sight
I cant wait to take her
On her first cruise tonight
So i take her to the lake
I make my son her first mate
And i as her captain

We finally get her launched
She floats like a dream
But then out of the blue

I feel the coolness of water
So fresh and so clean
I look down at my feet to see
Rushing water coming up to my knees
I ask my first mate
Did you put the plug in the boat?
He stops screaming
Long enough to answer me and say
" nope!"
