Tiny Tree
There was a branch that stood amongst the trees.
It was amongst the weaker ones that came from seed.
The mighty wind blew it's hush
Throughout the majestic under brush
The branch stood fast with all it's might
As the wind blew through that breezy night.
But still the branch stood it's ground
While the wind continued to howl around.
Then when Dawn lit of the sky
Dawn heard a tiny cry
At long last it had fallen down
And was resting peacefully on the ground
It had not withstood the might wind
and it cried out to Dawn " let me try again."
With love and compassion Dawn bent down
And picked up the branch from the ground
She replanted it in its place
And wiped the tears from it's narrow face.
"Again you shall sway my tiny tree
In the loving winds majesty."

On its branches blowing free

Today he was assigned
Trees sway in the wind, giants dancing solo.
A forlorn fanciful tune
played by the howling wind,
tendrils drifting through
