Fade
I'm fading into another world,
My consciousness leaving this one.
Into another reality and beyond
The restraints placed upon me.
I'm soaring on the ground,
Never to be separated from you.
Will you breathe me in like I'm trying to do for you?
Am I just falling and fading for nothing?
Then I'm grounded, and
Memory slips behind a filter.
You're blocked and distorted,
Waiting for me to fade into your arms once more.

Of the day we'll meet,
Of the things he'll say.
I

Dreaming this night away.
In cold darkened room.
Dreaming of a warm green blue pond.
There you are
