Poetry: Fantasy

by Cordelia Riordan

Created on: October 10, 2008

Led

Steel sprinkled these roses on the snow,

Beautiful winter and fires warm, and

Each breath taken sparkles like the lights.

I follow into the twilight, counting footsteps on a seldom-used path.

In a siren's spell I wander on, led by the mystical draw

And the moonlight on my skin.

I shine, glowing in the forest's night -

Enchanted, I seek your lips, your embrace.

I come ever closer, led by your siren song.
