Poetry: Sensations

by Cordelia Riordan

Created on: October 10, 2008

Stripped bare,

Vulnerable I stand before your gaze,

Awaiting that which I so yearn for.

Surrendering my heart, our lips meet.

I'm flying and faling, watching galaxies soar past me as I'm caught,

Immobile and watching all of Creation zoom past -

Or perhaps it is Creation that is staying still.

I am still stripped bare before you.
