Poem: "Silence"
Silence was my only shelter amongst the mountain trees
And beyond a far lake your ferry carriage came...
When the lone forest birds tasted the dew of Spring
How we longed for the quench that the dew would bring
Weltered perennials of the dark valley welcomed the sun's rays
The brightness that brings life...
...and with that brightness I saw you -
The flow of the waters near echoed like early thunder
High hills shone clear the green below the evening rain
Should I once more know of this warmth of seasonal change?
All this life I will give thanks to these azure skies -
With this warmth of your fair presence, I will,
And, again...I will in memory and with Godly thanks to
That which is much bigger than I
This "Beast" inside of my head may well be contained,
But only by will and faith...only I hold the key for release
But then, the "Beast" holds keys to the same
The release of total madness
But, my past and the pain caused to others of endearing love
Shall never be forgiven...not within my heart.
How I miss thee...missing the normality of the normal
The possession of an even keel
The possession of peace within
Ever wishing to never fear the "Beast" again.

A small apartment held all the mysteries.
What they least would want to see.
All those times.. wheeled out on gurneys.
PERFECT PEACE
Limpidly slipping, green and golden
Globes of morning dew are glinting, in
The first bright ring of day. Dawn's

Someday a quiet peace I'll find
A peace of soul, a peace of mind
A haven free from grief and strife

Peace
Is far
When man
Is
At a distant

He should
Live
