Barrack Obama seems poised for the American presidency. However, various contexts of his ability to become both commander in chief and the man to keep the Americans safe are widely very contentious. I recently met his brother George Hussein Obama in a slum in the Kenyan capita, Nairobi. George Hussein Obama lives in squalor. He is in abject poverty and worse into vices and all sorts of human risks.
George Obama smokes pot; he drinks cheap alcohol, deals with prostitutes and uses hard drugs. I asked him what he thinks of his brother Barrack. George is optimistic Obama will go through and take over White House and that one of these fine days, they will meet and he will have a chance at sharing with Barrack Obama. However, asked whether he earns any help from his millionaire brother, George says "No!" Barrack is mean and completely selfish. He earns over $2 million yearly.
Barrack Obama has lately made headlines after he told the American nation that they should embrace brotherhood. "I am my brothers keeper!.." I got shocked since Obama fails to meet these prime targets he is setting for the Americans. He has proposed a very diverse and comprehensive healthcare and has projected an immense financial growth program to bring the American economy to a new level. Besides, he has promised to immensely invest in poverty reduction in Africa and across the world. He has also projected his wish to hit the AIDS pandemic hard and rid the society of this malady.
But a closer look at his brother leaves doubts on Senator Obama's commitment. His brother lives in Huruma, a sprawling slum in the Eastern hemisphere of Nairobi. George buys foods that risk his health. He is faced by infectious diseases like tuberculosis and hepatitis. He lives in a neighborhood that has prostitutes; the food is dirty and prone to infection, poor infrastructure, slums, poor sanitation and wrong peers. But Barrack is paying less attention to these crisis faced by his brother back home.
On policy, Obama mention of poverty should have a valid perspective in terms of a direction as well as a key starting point which should be his brother George Hussein Obama. He should spearhead a campaign, through uplifting his brother's conditions and life and henceforth, spearhead poverty reduction through his brother. As such, there will be sense in his projections about poverty reduction.

should in-act be ashamed of ever attempting to become US president. It is disgraceful for what I encountered from the meeting with George Obama is way off from brotherhood and blood. George Obama, a 26 year old man lives in
Huruma estate in a dingy he calls a house. In fact it's not a dingy but a single room with a foul stench of stale cigarette and fresh pot smoke. I was short of words; I was shocked and repulsive at the environment a brother to a man who might one day become the most powerful man in the world lives. Huruma is sprawling slum laden estate. Flies, dirty as they are, fly allover, women and children everywhere, dirty and unkempt wander here. Small enterprises and all sorts of bars, video watching rooms and dirty food joints are strewn along the streets.
Barrack should take responsibility and work out this to show both leadership and commitment. He is way off the mark in the current state of affairs. Sometimes, a little help, a little concern, and a little show of love is all you need to make a difference and bring change.
