My breath sounds like a hurricane, panic inside me, heavy on my chest.
I dial your number , no one answers. Feel like I'm wearing a thousand pounds on my vest.
Leaving you was the worst thing I have had to do.
When we are apart, Oh how I miss you.
My breath slows down to a soft groan, The panic eases as I log into my facebook.
Sure I will find you there, quickly I take a look.
But alas, to no avail, your not logged in, I begin to wail.
Why did I leave you, why did I fail.
When we are apart, the sadness deepens inside my heart.
I feel , if I don't see you, I'll crumble apart.
Three thousand miles away from you, What do I do.
When we are apart, what do I do, what do I do, oh what do I do?

Poetry: When we're apart
by Jack Ivey
So long the time hath gathered in
The days when we're apart
A longing for your tender kiss
Does fill my aching heart
To hold
Even together we drift apart
slow moving tides dragging at us
the unsaid weighing heavily
on happiness
I try to talk
you just
by Robin Cumber
Feelings
Without you I would be so blue
Men like you are very true
I'M so lucky to have found you
and to be able to start
by Moeze Lalji
When we are apart
We are fine as gold
When we are together
It is all
Not bad but foggy
And dim
Maybe the past
Tensions are
When we're apart...
I miss the twinkle in your eyes,
the smile welcoming me into your arms,
the softness of your voice as you
