Small chested women, count your blessings (both of them)! Included are a few tips for maximizing your minimum bust, but first be thankful for what God gave you. There are an array of advantages to having a flatter chest:
1) Perkiness. Our chests will stay naturally perkier, longer, without the added weight to them.
2) Our bra's are generally more comfortable, and cheaper, too! If you have ever noticed, Victoria's Secret often charges two dollars or so more for the bigger busted bra's.
3) We can afford to go braless without worrying about the dangers of accidentally popping out.
4) Less pain during physical activity. My sister is a good two cups bigger than I am, but the envy stops there once I see her have to layer sports bras and t-shirts when she goes to the gym.
5) We can choose to change our bra size without plastic surgery. Padded bras, anyone?
6) Men might actually notice you, and not just your chest. Have you ever noticed how large breast are often mistaken for microphones by men?
Word to the wise: a flat chested girl has a little more mobility when it comes to wearing low cut tops. I do not reccommend going braless all of the time, it's usually very noticable and sometimes inappropriate. If you are one of those girls who would like a little extra security, choose a strapless bra. Nude often works best, as you cannot see it through white shirts. Since there is less chest to support holding the bra up, be sure to choose a bra that has a good grip on the inner part of the bra- usually these types of bras are ridged with elastic . After washing and wearing several times, it may be time to replace your bra because the elastic may wear down and your bra may no longer offer the support you need.
You also may try investing in a set of breast petals. They are usually inexpensive and are good for a one time use with an especially low shirt. They provide coverage so you can not distinguish the nipple in a sheer shirt.
Boustier tops and bras are also great when you require a little extra oomph. Many tops today come ready with built in padding, so you may be able to nix your bra.
Every flat chested girl should know this secret trick: bronzer. Sweeping a little bit of bronzer between your breasts creates the illusion of depths by creating a darker shadow.
V-Necks and plunging necklines also help create the illusion of cleavage and draw a visual line between your mounds of flesh. I also find that cowl necklines (the necklines that have an extra scoop of gathered material) assist in making it appear that you are more top-heavy than you actually may be.
Choose an outfit that uses a belt or otherwise cinches your waist. Doing so gives your shape a little more definition and breaks up your body into two distinct visual halves, forging an hour-glass image.
Steer clear of loose fitting tops that hide what you have. Lean toward more elastic or thin materials. Choose bright colors, as black tends to flatten and conceal shape.
Most importantly, speak to your ob-gyn and get them checked out regularly to ensure they remain healthy.
Do not neglect your other assets. Accentuate what you do have. Just because you don't have a super-sized set, does not mean that you don't have a quality set. Not to mention, for most men (or people in general), just the fact that you have them is enough.
