Everyone has Super Bowl predictions. Some come out earlier and some later. I hate to put mine out there too early.
As Championship week approaches, I believe Indianapolis and Chicago will prevail in their respective conferences. It should make for a good game and a good draw. There will be plenty for people to talk about in the days leading up to it.
Indianapolis? San Diego has been the better team all season. They have put the points on the board when needed, thanks to LT, and their defense has done the job. Just two weeks ago I wouldn't have given Indy a chance in this game, but the last two games their defense has risen to the occasion. I believe they will find a way to stop SDs offense and Peyton will find Harrison for a game winner.
Chicago? Duh! They have been the class of a group of "also rans" called the NFC. I'm not sure anyone in the NFC can be in the same stadium with them. Their defense has shut down everyone they've played. The offense finds ways to win. While I'm not a Grossman fan, he's getting it done.
So, the prediction? Give it to Chicago. If it becomes a battle of defenses, Chicago has proven itself over an entire season, not just a few weeks. It will be a defensive, low scoring affair, but should be worth watching.
