It's like the old saying says "practice makes perfect" if you practice writing your writing does actually improve. At times though it's more of a self issue. You yourself think you have ugly hand writing and that it needs improvement , yet someone comes along and praises your handwriting and how small and pretty it is or how well you write certain letters in cursive and so forth. As a child your critiqued on you handwriting and penmanship as you get older it stays with you. When your writing during a job interview or rather you the owner of a business you wonder what if people cant's understand what I'mwriting. Will they get the point or will they just be trying to figure out what it is that's on the paper like a doctor's prescription. Actors don't have issues with their handwriting they get paid to sign autographs so i believe we should all be comfortable with our own handwriting. Think of it as our very own signature it what's sets us apart from everyone else. It's our individuality coming out in our own way. If you think about it not one person writes exactly like you. Some of us write slanted as I do and others write as straight as can be. At times that slanted little letter can make a huge difference in our lives. It can send someoneto jail for identity theft or save someone from going to jail for being framed. Many people don't really think of it much but like I say one little letter and the penmanship that it is written in can make or break a person. It can make a person wealthy and so on. John Hancock got famous for his. People take there writing for granted but again now at days who needs to worry about writing when all you have to do is type now. Thanks to technology making things easier for everyone who needs papers and pencils. What I do say is this though handwriting is a beautiful thing. Poems and some of the greatest stories of all time were written in the most amazing calligraphy , you can possibly think of on scrolls and with charcoal and other things used for writing back in the day and i honestly doubt they practiced over and over again. We as people are not perfect so i doubt that our handwriting and our penmanship has to be as well. Just be proud of the fact that we have our words and writing to express ourselves the way we do. To some pretty handwriting comes naturally but to others just remember when in doubt practice always makes perfect.
