It has become a dangerous trend that in every election you have to pick the lesser of two evils and this presidential election isn't an exception. Both candidates have their flaws and have shown them many times on television or simply in print. Though this is certainly not the best scenario during our highly fragile economic status, we as voters must do our part and chose the candidate that we feel would be the best out of the worst for our country. For me this is McCain and Palin as they have shown that they not only have experience on their side and they have a lot more common sense when it comes to Senator Obama.

This Presidential election has looked much like a campaign for class president in my old high school. The popular more hip candidate seems to be getting more positive publicity. His wife is on the cover of People magazine for best dressed. It would seem that he is winning the popularity contest but what about what really matters. Has it not dawned on people that just because he is popular and some people are now swooning over him that it doesn't necessarily mean that he can run our country properly. It has been frightening to see how a good hand shake and a good speech are winning people over. Most days I silently scream to myself and pray that people start doing their homework on both candidates. It is then that they will see that is more likely that McCain and Palin will do his homework so to speak than Obama and Biden. True, both have their advisory committess but it is clear who hasn't caught on to what America really needs. Watch an old Presidential debate with Bill Clinton, paste Obama's head on Clinton's body, and you will know what we will have for the next four possibly eight years, I for one am not ready for that. I assure you, the well primped and dressed Obama's will not look to popular as our country will be in an even more mess than it is now.

It comes down to this. Our country needs people with experience to step in and try to fix the mess that we are in. Demorcatic or Repulican, this nation is in need of some no nonsense leadership to get us back on track. Where was Obama during the economic meltdown a few weeks ago? Oh yeah, he as off somewhere campaigning promising that he would fix the problem. Where was McCain? He returned back to his seat in the Senate and attempted to be part of the solution. With empty promises in one hand and someone who has shown that he can put country before his own needs in the other, I think I will go
