The decline of the US as a world power

to be questioned on their stewardship and is asking for blind allegiance.

Secondly America has used her prosperity to supplant family values and sound education with every form of excess in immoraity(anti-family) by promoting filth in our entertainment. More money has been poured into movie making , amusement parks , vedio games and phonoraphy of every kind than in education. Americas children thanks to a failed approach now know more about Paris Hilton than about Paris France.

Thirdly this emphasis on military might is focus that is energy misspent. All this military spending at the expense of free healthcare and equipped classrooms is not worth it. This obsession with policing the world while the economy is being ruined and the middle class slides into being poor and the poor sinking into poverty is making us the laughing stock of the world.

The decline of U.S. power is not coming about because of external aggression but by stuctural weaknesses in industry (low productivity), education (falling behind the rest of the world), its financial system (based on excess and greed) and military expediture (being used to invade and police countries) some which could be put to building a better education system and a more prepared and skilled workforce.

Let us banish the hypocracy of trying to lead the world at the same time we are sinking in the quicksand of internal crisis.
