Few of us can forget that now infamous "Mission Accomplished" photograph of President Bush on board a U.S. aircraft carrier in his green flight suit. He was so certain that "victory" had been won. He was just as certain that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, and was about to unleash a nuclear attack on Israel, and that the Iraqis were linked to Al Qaeda and the events of 911. On all issues, his wisdom and knowledge proved to be certainly wrong. None of his children nor relatives paid the price for his errors.

Now he is once again "certain" that sending a surge of even more of other people's children into Iraq will assure that elusive victory. I suggest that if he is so damn certain of his new plan that he don a uniform and as our Commander In Chief of the Armed Forces, he personally lead our troops into Sadr City and have his two daughters enlist to assist in midnight raids in Al Anhbar Province. Words are cheap - especially for a draft-dodging President. If his own family was at personal risk I'm sure he'd pick his words and actions much more carefully.

President Bush now wants us to expend even more lives and more billions of our tax dollars, yet still cannot tell us what happened to the $9 Billion that disappeared in Iraq two years ago. $9 Billion dollars could provide every American with health care insurance or build 900 new American schools, or completely rebuild New Orleans. Why is he not even looking for this money?

Keep in mind that after $450 Billion and 5 years after rushing our troops into this unprovoked war, over 300,000 people are dead, mostly civilians including approximately 5,000 children and all President Bush has to show for it is the removal of Saddam Hussein, a task that could have been achieved by a single Marine sniper team. Is President Bush ignoring reality because of painful denial or are his oil company sponsors just so anxious and nervous about losing a trillion dollars of Iraq's oil reserves? Either way, a president who ignores the will of his own people is a dictator and should be removed from office.

We can no longer remain the blind patriot sheep Mr. Bush wants us all to be, nor distracted with the new Iran diversion, nor fall for his fear mongering any longer. As a nation, "We The People" must remain focused on the reality of Iraq and those directly responsible for this fiasco and needless deaths of our sons, fathers, and husbands. Those that deceived us which such grave and costly consequences must be prosecuted and punished.
