Given this games name I originally thought it might have something to do with gold collecting gold perhaps but no, your gold is actually blue and called Endron Zymithium Trisystaline Lucky for you since that's such a mouthful and pretty unpronounceable it has been abbreviated to EZT!

Swarm Gold is a sci-fi shooting game which is fast paced and extremely intense with over 100 levels to keep you busy and your heart racing.

You are in space flying a craft and your aim is to collect all the EZT without getting killed. There are many bad things up there with you including the death worm which is the most dangerous of all.  You have been warned!

The EZT look like blue shining crystals and are easily located using your on board navigator. If your eyesight is good you can locate the baddies, seen as red dots as but the navigator screen is a tad on the small side so best just to concentrate on your flying and keep your finger on the space-bar ready to shoot!

You need to watch out for harvesters, they are also out collecting the EZT's which you want. If a harvester has already collected the EZT just shoot at it and it will let go so that you can collect it. But watch out for its friends the clag scouts and get ready to fire your way out!

Once you have collected all of the EZT's you will be told to locate the exit generator so that you can get out of there and proceed to the next level.

Most levels require you to collect all the EZT's but sometimes you get a bonus level; this could be to collect all of the bonus items you can in a race against time or to kill everything out there.

Collect purple shields to protect you, don't worry when you collide head first into a boulder, you will bounce right off. You can also collect extra firing power really wipes those baddies out of the sky with one single blast!

The music gets your heart beating as you race towards the blue circle wondering if you are going to get killed by something nasty or loose control and hit a boulder. Gold swarm is all about the game play rather than the graphics which are rather standard with an old feel but that's not important promise!

I give this game 4/5. I would not usually consider a space aka a "boy's" game but I played this and it is fun! Adrenaline pumping action! Wow!
