THE LAND OF THE HOPED
When he fell asleep that night, he had a dream,
He was taken to a different place,
It was a place that had an atmosphere of light
There were other people there,
And their faces were bright with happiness and love,
They were smiling and laughing,
And in the moment.
There were people of different ages,
Mothers and Fathers were appreciating their children,
And having fun with them,
There were also animals there,
That were playing,
And their faces were gleaming with happiness because others loved them and respected them,
Everyone respected each other,
And you could see the light of love in their spirits,
And it surrounded them.
He felt like this place was not in the present time, but in another.
While he was amongst everyone,
He heard a voice say, "They are the hoped. They still hope."
Then he suddenly awoke,
And realized that it was all in his head.
He chose to see those people as an example,
And began to live with that dream in mind,
He'd close his eyes and remember that beauty,
And the light the people had created.
He would never accept the hurt in the world as "O.K.",
His actions would reach out to others,
To create more hope,
And the others who began to believe the same, would gradually turn their own places in the world,
Into The Land of the Hoped.
