The Best Of Both Of Us
She has your eyes,
Full of wonder and always wanting to learn.
My smile always appears when she's happy with the world.
She gets her excitment for everything from me,
The bloomimg of flowers and kisses she receives.
She never misses a thing with that sharp mind you gave her,
Is quick to take in the world around her and make it as she feels it should be.
She's the best of both of us,
She's a product of what wasn't expected to be,
But a blessing we both share in our hearts,
The angel of our dreams.
Sometimes we might be at odds,
Not see eye to eye on a lot of things,
But one thing we can agree on ios that she's the best of both of us,
That will never change for you or for me.
