Like a song.
It's strange how our love song came true
I imagined love would be cold and harsh
painful, but real and insightful.
But it's all different with you.
We never fight for long
we're strong, but playful and clear.
I love how you made me.
I'm happy to be alive,
happy just to be by your side.
Is it bad that we're like a song?
Sappy and full of cliches,
but still capable of breaking people's barriers.
I don't care in all actuality.
As long as you're here with me,
let's continue to make our music.

when you came to me by the old street light
The trees sang a song I'd not heard
