Poetry: You stole my heart

by Destiny Furrow

Created on: October 06, 2008

After my first heart break,

i tried to protect my fragile heart...

because it was torn,

and had been ripped apart.

I was more cautious...

I tried to keep my feelings in,

because love is decieving,

and it's hard to win.

When I met you...

I was scared and lonely...

but as i got to know you,

I wanted you and you only.

We moved closer and closer...

I wished we'd never part...

I tried to keep it safe,

but you already stole my heart.

Now that you have it,

you dont want it anymore...

so you let go if it,

now it hurts more than before.

I trusted you with my secrets,

i told you how i felt...

When your eyes met mine,

my soul would just melt.

It's different now,

now that we're apart...

I let you in my world,

and then you stole my heart.
