Here's the difference between you and me
You believe that this is it
I believe there is so much more to see
You see only what you can touch
I'm looking for things I can't feel
I want to travel into the depths of the unknown
You only want to go to places that are real
There is a whole world full of aesthetic visualization
I would love to experience some of that stimulation
But still I am a slave to sensation
That's where we differ in our thought defecation
What's meaningful to you
May mean nothing to me
I said I'm not only interested in things I can touch and see
My questions are unanswerable
Yours are based on verity
I live in a world full of fiction
You can only walk on authenticity
I want to soar high up above
You need to stay grounded on a foundation of precision
I'll float on a cloud of vagueness
While you find attestation to base every decision
I'm interested in what comes after life
You're stuck on the here and now
Finding ways to build up your empire
I'll do it some way, some how
Your domain consists of factors and actualities
I live in a realm of sentiment and emotion
When faith meets reason
It causes quite a commotion
There is no rationale for the things we can't see
That's where the connection gets lost between you and me
I wonder if there could ever be a spark
A flame added to this fire of intellect
Could the ordinary dance with the supernatural?
I think that understanding would turn to neglect
Don't misconstrue me, you are everything but ordinary
And I am no paranormal creature or being
But while I accept not knowing
You practice the art of perceptive seeing
And here I go again
With my unverified assumptions and postulation
Suppositions I can never prove
As if I know all about your mind's gestation
It is what it is
Truth, facts, lies, and deceptions
Thoughts, inquiries, ideas, and conceptions
Faith, love, doubt, and uncertainty
Hopes, dreams, clarity, and obscurity
I wish I had a sword
To slice through the questions like a knife
But if there is one thing we do have in common
It's that we both have no clue of the true meaning of life.

The Lost Souls
I once met an old man in a dream,
A dream that was not all that it seemed.
Its colors were splashed with shades
They often seem quite ordinary, at first glance,
Maybe a little less open or filled with confidence,
Like you or me. Floating,

INTO DARKNESS
Our hearts beat, but our souls are lost;
Our blood is warm, yet we are as cold as frost.
We are not shepherds,
