Poetry: Far away

by John Krohn PhD

Created on: October 05, 2008

"My Tears weep this grayest dawn not from rainy mist but sorrow that you are to me unknown;

Far across the countryside, my grieving heart and soul do ache with painful longing, still alone.

Where is this one who calls to me when midnight hour is dark and still?

I know that she is near, but blind am I to see her, yet I feel her, search I will."
