Poetry: Summer morning

Golden Summer Days

As marigolds bend in the breeze and golden delicious apples grow on the trees, Children playing in the wild meadows, collecting their treasured Buttercups

Golden summer days.

Time for picnics, time for chatter, perfect blue skies stretched far beyond the eye,

The sounds of laughter, the sun embracing you like a warm familiar blanket

Golden summer days.

The freshness of the morning dew on the meadow grass, wild flowers waking up so colourful and bright, a soft breeze moving as if to say hello, butterflies floating in delight

Golden summer days
