Cologne: When you want a different scent

How fortunate was I to work in a cosmetic department of a well known department store, my counter being directly across from Men's cologne? Heavenly. The fragrances were wonderful and so were the men who came to the counter to purchase them.

Oh, what an array of offerings. Sprays, splashes, lotions, after shaves and gels. Eau de Colognes, Eau de Toilettes and Eau de Parfum with a lasting fragrance of 2-4 hours and Cologne, highly concentrated and holding a scent for 5-6 hours. Heavenly aromas emanating from fabulous bottles; gold, black, and green signature bottles.

Oh, men, men, men, those fabulous scents offering you a collection of choices, choices, choices! The traditional green bottle with the Polo player from Ralph Lauren holds the truly loved Polo cologne. Smell the sharp, woody, arid fragrance with a note of leather and tobacco. Polo shirt. Polo Play. Polo cologne; Perfect for the day.

HUGO BOSS cologne. Unusual; Unconventional; Lavender, Sandalwood, just a hint of clove. Luscious. Pair it with casual wear. HUGO BOSS; Ahead of its time.
