Another thing enviably trim people do, is snack, but not on cheese puffs or cookies. To satisfy between meal hunger, they're more likely to grab a banana, yogurt or some nuts. In fact, slender people know that when they're busy and must miss regular meals, they can get all their daily nutrition from seven or eight snacks like this. This eliminates a common excuse for eating a lot of fast food.
Here's the most common sense, but over looked tip for staying naturally slim. Counting calories isn't just for losing weight. You don't have to log every morsel that passes your lips, but you do have to know what's in your food and roughly how many calories you're eating. Check labels on prepared foods for fat and calorie content. And when dining out, be aware that even though calories aren't listed on the menu, your restaurant meal is packed with them. Often, a third of what's on a restaurant plate is what the average person should consume at a sitting.
Before all this though, start off your day thinking thin, and eat breakfast. Slender people know that skipping this meal ultimately does not save calories. It's breakfast that gives you the energy to get to lunch time without the urge to binge. Put some protein, whole grain carbohydrates and a serving of fruit under your belt and you'll be on your way to a naturally slim day.
