Men don't wear skirts because women don't want them to wear skirts. If men wore skirts then they would be competing with women for attention. Men should not be prettier than women. Men should be good looking and attractive but not pretty. The desire to be attractive to men is in all women. If the men stop looking at us and focus on beautifying themselves; we would have a big problem. A woman is attracted to a man because he makes her feel pretty and she likes how he makes her feel important to him.

When I met my husband he wore a pair of tight, faded black jeans that covered his tummy button but not his ankles. We walked around a nearby lake one evening. It could have been so romantic we would have gotten ourselves into trouble. But instead all I could think about was how repulsed I was by his pants.

The only way I got past my problem with his clothes enough to allow him to pursue me was when my friends decided to tell him that I didn't like him and would never marry him. They called him when he had just left for a vacation with his family. When I found out about what they had said to him, I cried. Then I realized I must really like him or I wouldn't be crying about them getting rid of him for me. I called him and left a message to call me.

While we were still dating he let me pick his clothes out and he bought them. After we were married, he let me get rid of all of the clothes that I didn't like and pick out his clothes for different occasions. It worked out perfectly for both of us. I was very attracted to him in certain clothes and he didn't have to think about what to wear. I also new that he cared about what I thought and valued my opinion. He respected me a lot and it showed by his attitude of wanting to please me.

We have been married for four years now and a little over a year ago we found out about a Scottish/Irish Festival nearby. He is Irish and I am Scottish so we decided to go. He was very excited about picking out a kilt and then trying it on and seeing how it looked in the mirror with different poses. After he decided that it was more comfortable to wear a skirt than pants or shorts, he wears it all of the time at home. He has even worn it out of the house a few times. I am not impressed with skirts on my husband. I would rather see him in khakis. I shouldn't have opened up Pandora's Box of Kilts.

So the real reason that men don't wear skirts is because they want to attract women. A man shouldn't care what he is wearing as long as it totally turns on the lady that he wants to impress. Isn't that why most me do what they do? To impress someone they care about. So if you are a real man, do what your lady likes. If she likes to see you in a skirt, then wear a skirt. If she is repulsed and disgusted by you wearing a skirt, get rid of it.
