Chicken wings um! Who doesn't love them. I have been enjoying chicken wings since I was a little kid. My great grandmother use to cook them every week. She had her own special way to fry her wings. They where crispy and just delicious. Don't forget the hot sauce. Oh man you are talking about good. But since I have been preparing my own meals after I became an adult I would like to share my recipe with you. Your family will love them. Depending on your family size you can add more or take away from this recipe. Okay here we go.
1. 10 wings (remove tips)
2. 2 1/2 cups flour
3. 1/2 tbsp salt
4. 1/2 tbsp pepper
5. 2 tsp garlic powder
6. 1/2 cup spicy brown mustard
7. cooking oil
Directions- wash wings and drain, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then cover with mustard and mix well.
Place flour in a zip-lock bag add chicken wings shake up good. Remove from bag shake off any extra flour. Fry until golden, about 6 to 7 minutes on each side depending on the size of the wings. Cook on medium to med high heat. place on wire rack to cool.
You can enjoy these wings with celery and blue cheese or as a main meat dish. If you try this at home I hope you like it.
